Kitchen Drains and Channels for Brödernas Hamburger Chain, Sweden

Scope

The hamburger chain Brödernas was founded in the northern part of Sweden in 2018 and has 90 restaurants all over Sweden. The chain, owned by two pairs of brothers, has grown rapidly and is today one of the leading chains within the fast-casual dining segment. When Brödernas opened their restaurant in the shopping center Baronen in Kalmar at the beginning of 2023, they did so with floor drains and channels from BLÜCHER in the kitchen and in the dishwashing area.

What the Client Needed

Easy-to-clean and hygienic floor drains and channels were needed for the preparation kitchen and the dishwashing area, as well as a barrier channel just inside the entrance of the dishwashing room, to prevent water from flowing to an adjacent, dry room when cleaning the floors with a hose.

Solution

Channel 670 for vinyl flooring was installed in the areas mentioned above, as well as industrial floor drains.

Results (ROI)

The kitchen staff are satisfied with the floor channels and find them easy to keep clean:

- It’s good that each piece of grating is relatively short because then it’s not so heavy to remove.
