BLÜCHER launches an entirely new version of their marine drains and penetrations to the BLÜCHER® EuroPipe drainage pipework system - all with flanges for installation without welding
The new BLÜCHER® Drain Marine and BLÜCHER® EuroPipe penetrations can be installed from above without welding, using only a cordless drill driver. Installation time per penetration is as short as 45 sec.!
With the new drains and penetrations with flanges for installation without welding, no welding certificate nor hot-work precautions are required, they can be installed by one man alone at at a late stage of the building process or even while at sea.
The drains and penetrations with flanges for installation without welding are suitable for repair/refit in decks from 4,5 to 10 mm thickness, and they are fire-rated A0-A60 (bulkhead A0-A30).
Drains and penetrations come with a special screw-lock system with sealing ring for each fixing point and a sealing ring for the entire drain/penetration. Installation can be carried out from above using an electric drill/screwdriver and/or a torque wrench, tightening all fixings to 35 Nm.
