Louvre Abu Dhabi is open – BLÜCHER has delivered both our gastight upperpart and our Tokyo tiled in upperpart for the museum

The Louvre Abu Dhabi art museum is now officially inaugurated. It is designed by the Jean Nouvel architect inspired by the architecture and traditions of the United Arab Emirates.

The Tokyo tiled in upperpart contains discreet high-tech elegant drainage gratings, which suit perfect to the rest of the architecture of Louvre Abu Dhabi building. Furthermore, BLÜCHER’s gastight upperpart was installed due to its high efficiency for blocking bad odor.

The museum was official inaugurated on November 8th 2017. It is approximately 24,000 square meters (260,000 sq ft) in size, with 8,000 square meters (86,000 sq ft) of galleries, making it the largest art museum in the Arabian Peninsula. Artwork from around the world is show cased at the museum, with particular focus placed upon bridging the gap between Eastern and Western art.
