Fire proof water traps prevent fire from spreading

BLÜCHER has developed a whole new series of fire proof water traps which are reducing the risks of fire from spreading.
The fire proof water traps are well suited for multistory buildings. A special cone of paste expands about 40 times when exposed to high temperatures and thereby close the drain and prevent spreading of fire between the storeys.

The fire proof water traps can easily replace your existing standard removable water traps. If the fire has not damaged the construction completely the paste can be removed and new fire proof water traps can be installed.
All water traps are approved according to DIN 4102 part 11 in fire rating R120 and can be used with the below mentioned drains:
