BLÜCHER EuroPipe® for RCL Ultra Voyager cruise liner

BLÜCHER EuroPipe® stainless steel push-fit drainage pipes and fittings will be installed in the black- and grey-water systems of the record-breaking Ultra Voyager cruise liner - the to date largest cruise ship ever.
The Ultra Voyager cruise liner will be built at Kvaerner Masa-Yards (FI) for Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd., one of the big three in the cruise business. The vessel is scheduled for delivery in May 2006 and will be named Freedom of the Seas.
The Ultra Voyager is a larger and more spacious version of the widely popular Royal Caribbean Voyager Class, also in terms of passenger facilities and amenities. Among the Voyager Class ships are the Mariner of the Seas and the Navigator on the Seas, both of which have BLÜCHER drainage pipes and fittings installed.

Being about 15% larger than the Voyager Class, the Ultra Voyager will be 38,6 m by 339 m and stand 18 stories high, with a gross tonnage about 160.000. This makes it 6% larger than today’s largest cruise ship. The ship will be able to carry 3600 guests (500 more than the Voyager class vessels) and 1400 crewmembers.
