BLÜCHER EuroPipe® for two new NCL cruise liners

BLÜCHER EuroPipe® stainless steel push-fit drainage pipes and fittings will be installed in the black- and grey-water systems of the two new panmax cruise liners to be built at Meyer Werft for Norwegian Cruise Line.

The two new cruise liners are to be delivered i mid 2005 and mid 2006, and they are advanced repeat vessels of Norwegian Star and Norwegian Dawn delivered to NCL in 2001 and 2002, to which BLÜCHER has also supplied drainage pipes and fittings.
The newbuildings will each have an overall length of 294 m and a moulded breadth of 32,2 m. On each ship there will be 1188 cabins with facility to accommodate 2669 passengers. As compared to Norwegian Star and Norwegian Dawn, the newbuildings will feature many technical innovations and new design aspects in interior and outer appearance.
